Abstract
Wikipedia is still dying its death three years on. Siri is as pumped up as ever on wiki meth & data.

The wondrous achievement for civilization has stalled and is being pulled down into the mudslinging: too big, it failed.

That English-speaking white guys dominate by their numbers at WP blurs the picture it stores of large parts of the English and non-English speaking world.

Visual Editor is poo-pooed by volunteers, who prefer it as it was in the good old days, hard to learn unless you have lots of free time on your hands...

Quotes
Gardner agrees that today’s Web is hostile to self-organized collective efforts, likening it to a city that has lost its public parks. “Our time is spent on an increasingly small number of increasingly large corporate sites,” she says. “We need more public space online.” In fact, Gardner is leaving the foundation at the end of the year in search of new projects to work on that very problem.
